On August 22–23, 2025, Åkulla transforms into a BBQ paradise as Smoke in the North, one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious BBQ competitions sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS), takes over the scenic landscape.
Get ready for the aroma of smoke, the sound of sizzling grills, and mouthwatering BBQ from some of Europe’s top competition teams – all battling for trophies, glory, and a chance to qualify for the legendary “The Jack” in the USA!
