This year, we are partnering with the City of Borås and Borås Camping to create something truly special – Borås Barbecue Festival, taking place 21–23 August 2026 in and around Borås Camping.

For one unforgettable weekend, the area will transform into Sweden’s ultimate BBQ destination. Visitors can enjoy world-class barbecue, live cooking, exhibitors, food trucks, local producers, family activities, live entertainment, and one of Europe’s largest KCBS-sanctioned BBQ competitions – all in one place.

Best of all – admission is completely FREE! Whether you’re a dedicated pitmaster, a passionate foodie, or simply looking for a fantastic day out, there’s something for everyone. Bring your family and friends to enjoy great food, BBQ shopping, live music, exciting demonstrations, children’s activities, and an unforgettable festival atmosphere.

Smoke in the North remains the heart of the weekend, bringing together top competition teams from across Europe to battle for glory in our KCBS-sanctioned double contest. Combined with Borås Barbecue Festival, this creates a unique event unlike anything else in Scandinavia.
